Search Intensifies for Missing Malawi Military Plane with Vice President Onboard

Malawi’s soldiers are combing the forests of northern Malawi for a missing military plane carrying Vice President Saulos Chilima, former first lady Shanil Dzimbiri, and eight others. The plane lost contact shortly after takeoff. President Chakwera announced that all resources are being used for the search, with international assistance from the U.S., the U.K., Norway, and Israel.
